Hi I am Juliana, I am 39 years old, mother of 2 handsome boys and the third one on its way to this world (due in Feb/2021).
My passion for holistic nutrition started when I became a mother ten years ago. Through experience, I observed how much our diet during pregnancy, breastfeeding support and later on a healthy introduction of solids, could contribute to physical, mental and emotional development. Two years later when my second son was born, unfortunately he had a sensitive stomach with many food sensitivities and intolerances to gluten, eggs and milk. This whole new world drove me on a path of integrated research with holistic medicine to enhance and help my son to become as healthy and comfortable as possible.
During my own motherhood process and growth I discovered the importance of managing and adapting each child's uniqueness to their dietary needs and I started helping families finding their healthy path and overcome obstacles through holistic and functional food in Brazil.
In 2015 my journey was transformed in a book "Fearless Feeding" about nutrition and its challenges in early childhood.
Moving to Winnipeg, I became a Certified Health Coach & Holistic Nutritionist, Postpartum Doula and advocate of woman's & children's health.
Nowadays, besides my 101 consultation I am a regular speaker at CTV Morning Live, where I provide my Nutrition Insights in 2 segments "Living Well" & "Tots to Teens" .
I always dreamed with a big family but my plans needed to be delayed a little bit after moving to Canada 4 years ago, giving my family the right time to adapt and find our safe place.
After 3 years of waiting, my husband and I knew that was time to make our family grow and multiply our big hugs, big love and big hearts.
From my own professional experience I knew that at 39 my body would work different and I could face some challenges. Fortunately, my knowledge was by my side enabling me to find the right support from food, supplements and alternative therapies than successfully resulted in a natural pregnancy at 39 years old.
